Weldmar Hospicecare Trust in Dorset and St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice work closely together to deliver a variety of services throughout the two counties.
Weldmar and St Margaret’s have formed a special partnership to create a more profitable lottery, which in turn will allow more funds to be allocated to patient care at both hospices.
Members may choose which hospice they wish their membership funds be allocated to, or they may even prefer to split their £1 between the two hospices! Whatever your choice, rest assured that the patients and their families and friends will benefit from your commitment.
How it works
Each weekly entry costs just £1 and you can have as many entries each week as you wish. The more you buy, the better chance you have of winning! Once we have received your payment, you will be allocated a unique number by our computer. This will be sent to you by post.
Every Friday, our lucky winners are selected at random. There is no need to claim your prize as cheques are issued automatically and winners will be notified in writing. A winners' list is displayed in all St Margaret’s and Weldmar’s charity shops and on our website.
How will you spend your winnings?
- 1st Prize £1,000
- 2nd Prize £500
- 3rd Prize £250*
- 25 Prizes £10
*All prizes guaranteed to be won each week excluding the 3rd prize of £250 which, if not won, will be rolled over to the next week to a maximum of £10,000 - then it’s a guaranteed win!
In our eyes, everyone’s a winner - our patients, their families and friends ... and you!
