Weldmar Hospicecare Trust is delighted to announce the opening of their 13th charity shop at 11am on Friday 26th March 2010 at 50 High Street, Shaftesbury (view the location).
The opening ceremony will be performed by Trust Vice Chairman Lt Col Nat Parmley accompanied by other representatives from Weldmar Hospicecare Trust.
Clothes, accessories, shoes, books, CDs, DVDs and household goods will be among the range of quality items for sale. Customers are encouraged to take part in our retail campaign to promote Buy It - Use It - Bring it Back as a donation. The campaign message is also to donate textiles that are unsuitable for selling in our shops but are a valuable source of income for us.
Weldmar Hospicecare Trust are one of the few chains of charity shops that exclusively trade in goods donated by the people of Dorset.
The Trust always welcomes enquiries from people who would like to volunteer. If you have some spare time to help in the Shaftesbury shop or other shops within the Trust, please contact Ruth Leverton on 01305 756941 or read more about being a shop volunteer on our website.
