A beautiful collection of the Medicine Pills (twelve inch circular artworks) created by patients and families, staff and volunteers at Weldmar Hospicecare Trust.
How do we help ourselves when we are not feeling good?
Alongside medical treatment or pills, we often take mind journeys, we think about a person, a place, a time in our lives.
The ‘Medicine Pill’ project emerged from an invitation to all the people involved in the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust in Dorset, patients and families, staff and volunteers, to share one of the special things they do or think about when they are low or down or in pain.
The Pills were designed to speak for themselves. Participants were also able to write something about their piece, and these writings appear opposite the appropriate Pills.
Over forty people have contributed so far and their ‘Pills’ are displayed on the walls of Joseph Weld Hospice; all are made on the same format, a twelve-inch circle.
