Leaving a gift in your will
After providing for your family
and friends, by leaving a gift to the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust in your Will you could, in a very special way,
help to ensure the continuation of caring work after
your lifetime.
Any gift you make will be exempt from Inheritance
Tax so the whole of it can be used by the Trust.
We would always suggest that you consult
your solicitor or legal adviser concerning drawing up or
amending your Will.
Leaving a gift to the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust is simple. You can include us
when making your Will or if you already have a Will you can
add a Codicil.
Here is an example of the working you might include in your
Will or Codicil:
“I give to Weldmar Hospicecare Trust, Herringston Road, Dorchester, Dorset DT1 2SL
(Registered Charity No. 1000414) for its general charitable
purposes
(INSERT WHAT YOU WISH TO LEAVE AS A
GIFT)
For example one or more of the following:
| a. |
the sum of: ………………………………………… |
| b. |
all or part of the residue
of my estate |
| c. |
specific items |
and the receipt of
the Company Secretary or other responsible officer for
the time being of the
charity shall be good and sufficient discharge to my Executors”
If you would like to discuss leaving a
