Hours: 30 hours per week
Weldmar Salary Scale: £29,709 – £31,980 (pro rata for hourly sessions)

As a Bank Bereavement Counsellor, you will work flexibly as a member of The Family Support Service. You will provide high quality psychological and emotional support for our patients approaching their end of life, and to their significant others in their bereavement.
Reporting to the Counsellor and Bereavement Lead or the Head of Operations you will support the team in ensuring the development and quality of the psychological support service.
You will have experience of delivering psychological support at level 2 and 3 of the NICE guidelines of psychological support. You will have the opportunity to work creatively and responsively utilising all of your professional skills.
It is essential that you have a First Degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling, and in depth knowledge of counselling theory and research. You also must be accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) UKCP or other relevant body and take responsibility for accessing the support of a clinical supervisor.
