Deputy Outlet Manager (Shaftesbury)

Title: Deputy Outlet Manager
Hours: 35 hours per week (five days, Monday to Sunday)
Salary: £19,409

As Deputy Outlet Manager, you will provide support to the Outlet Manager and will be responsible for all aspects of the role in their absence. As part of the management team and under the guidance of the Outlet Manager, you will be involved with the operational management and efficiency of the site, ensuring that the Outlet is well resourced, commercially presented and financially successful. This will include the provision of the collection, delivery and distribution service.

You will have excellent retail knowledge, including presentation, stock display, merchandising and promotion. You will have a knowledge of our stock ranges, including furniture, collectables, quality and high street pricing with the ability to contribute ideas for further development of the Outlet and maximise possible income.

You’ll have proven supervisory experience preferably within a retail environment, and will work with a team of staff and volunteers, to ensure that the outlet is welcoming, that the windows, display areas and sales floor are regularly replenished. Ensuring that all customers receive a positive and memorable service, which will encourage return visits and future donations, is vital.
