Recycle old phones
Did you know that your old mobile phone can be recycled, rather than becoming landfill - and at the same time you can earn valuable money for Weldmar Hospicecare?
We are happy to accept old mobile phones, whether they are working or not. They enable us to raise valuable funds by passing them on to our mobile phone recycling partner.
Recycling old phones with Weldmar is easy, great for the environment and (unless you aren’t posting your phone) won’t cost you a penny. We turn every mobile phone you recycle into cash for us to provide vital services for people with life limiting conditions and their families who need our care.
Just parcel up or place in a sealed envelope marked ‘Fundraising Team‘ and then drop your old mobile phones off at any of our Day Services locations, our inpatient unit (Joseph Weld Hospice in Dorchester) or in any of our shops – and they will make sure that we get it.
Or post it to us:
We will then have the phone valued and sent to our recycling partner.
Ensure you remove your personal data
Don’t forget to take out your SIM card before donating your old mobile phone to us. If possible reset the phone back to the factory settings.
It is your responsibility to make sure your personal data has been removed from your old mobile phone. Take care of your personal data and reduce the risk of it being used by someone else.
