One of the brilliant things about charity shops is that you never know what you’ll find.
A recent donation to our Weymouth Outlet on the Granby Industrial Estate will be a real treat for lovers of 1980s notalgia – a collection of vintage computer consoles.
Do you remember the ZX Spectrum, with rubber keys? And did you ever load up Chuckie Egg on cassette tape to play on it?
How about the Commodore 64, the Dragon 64, or the cream coloured BBC microcomputer with it’s distinctive row of red function keys?
Boxes of retro computer consoles, accessories, books, and assorted programs and games are now on sale thanks to a kind donation.
Weldmar Hospicecare have a chain of charity shops and outlets across Dorset, packed full of treasures, all donated by generous members of the public.
