Dorchester schoolchildren get on their ‘Wacky Hair’ for Weldmar!
There were some weird and wonderful sights at Prince of Wales School!
We love it when local individuals, organisations, businesses or schools get involved in fundraising for Weldmar Hospicecare.
Children and staff at Prince of Wales School in Dorchester have donned wigs, accessories, and gel for a ‘Wacky Hair’ day, and raised an impressive £110.00!
Headteacher Gary Spracklen says, “We’ve seen a host of elaborate styles taking centre stage. In addition to colour, glitter and plaits, for the first time we have seen a host of props added, including a lizard, cupcakes, a penguin and even a whole family of birds in one case!”
Thank you to everyone at Prince of Wales School for taking part.
