Fancy a curry? A popular Weymouth restaurant to donate funds to Weldmar on National Curry Day
What do you fancy ordering?
As the temperature dips into single figures across Dorset, why not treat yourself to a warming curry on Wednesday 1st December – and help raise funds for Weldmar at the same time?
The award winning Shalims Indian restaurant, on Commercial Road in Weymouth, will be donating 50% of their takings on the day to the charity, from both restaurant and takeaway orders.
Owner Shalim Abs says, “Our long association with Weymouth started over 20 years ago when my father opened the doors to our first curry house here. We have been proudly serving fresh, authentic curries since that time. Many of our customers have been visiting us for decades and we have had the honour of seeing their families grow and to be part of their celebrations over the years.
“My team and I are delighted to have this opportunity to help this worthwhile charity and give back to a community we are proud to serve.”
So, whether you choose a classic chicken tikka masala, Shalims’ very own gunpowder chicken, or you’re brave enough to take on a vindaloo or phaal, you’ll be helping to raise funds for Weldmar to provide care for any adult in Dorset with a life limiting illness, and support to their loved ones too.
Pass the poppadoms!
