Look out for the new Weldmar Supporter Magazine
There are even more stories, features and interviews about the work of Weldmar in Dorset
The latest edition of the Weldmar Supporter Magazine will be landing on doormats across Dorset very soon.
The magazine, previously known as our newsletter, has doubled in size in the last two editions. It’s packed with even more news, features, interviews, and stories from the people we care for, and those who fundraise for us.
Emma Randall, our Weldmar Community Nurse for the Sherborne area, is featured on the cover as we discover how our WCN team have been facing increased demand for their services across Dorset.
We also discover more about working the night shift at our Inpatient Unit in Dorchester.
Our Day Services team give you the change to get interactive with games and activities, and there’s a recipe for the best chocolate brownies ever from Kath, one of our brilliant chefs!
We look forward to our shops re-opening after lockdown with a look at the spring fashions you can buy, and there are some great tips on making the most of charity shop shopping.
Danny Collins from Weymouth tells us about how he’s raised more than £10,000 since the start of the pandemic by restoring bicycles. Plus you can read about how your support makes a difference as Edwin shares the story of how his wife Gena was cared for by Weldmar.
Those on our mailing list will receive a copy of the supporter magazine through their door very soon, and once our shops re-open after lockdown, you’ll be able to pick up a copy at any store. You can also read the magazine online.
