Receptionist at Trimar House in Weymouth
Trimar House is the new home for Weldmar Hospicecare in Weymouth, for our Day Services, Community Nurses, and office support functions such as finance and fundraising.
This post requires someone with confidence to work in a busy environment, with the ability to work independently at times, managing the reception area. This includes varying demands and welcoming visitors to Trimar House. Our reception volunteers manage telephone calls, deal with enquiries from the public and for Weldmar staff, and will offer a warm welcome to staff, patients and visitors, so good interpersonal skills and a calm and friendly approach are also desired.
Our volunteers also support the teams working in the building by providing administrative support which could include photocopying, filing, preparing mailshots, data inputting, proof reading, typing reports, laminating or franking the post. Tasks are always allocated according to preference and the skills of the individual.
Trimar House will soon be open from Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm, and volunteers will commit to a rota depending on preferences and availability.
We also have a need for bank volunteers to cover on an ad-hoc basis.
