Weldmar’s Make a Will Month
Throughout October 2019, local solicitors have generously agreed to offer a limited number of Will writing appointments free of charge, and instead ask that you donate to Weldmar Hospicecare.
The appointment is to make a simple basic Will. It does not include details regarding, for example, tax planning, care home fees planning nor trusts, which could be completed but you would be charged as a separate fee.
Helping future generations
Once you have planned financially for family and friends, would you consider leaving a gift to Weldmar Hospicecare?
This would cost you nothing in your lifetime and would help to secure high quality end of life care to patients and their loved ones for generations to come.
It is entirely up to you what you leave, whether it is a specified amount or a percentage of your estate. Please speak to your Solicitor for more information on this.
One out of every three of our patients are cared for by these thoughtful gifts. Without the support of gifts in Wills, we would not be able to care for over 420 patients each and every year.
You will be remembered for helping Weldmar Hospicecare continue our outstanding and vital work across the county.

Help save a little time with your appointment
It would be really helpful if you took along a completed form to the solicitor before your appointment. If you are able to print it and fill it in, then download it here. Don’t worry if you can’t do this, the solicitor you visit will have spare forms there.
