The Chaplain at Weldmar Hospicecare is a member of the multidisciplinary team, and is responsible for the religious and spiritual care and wellbeing of all patients and their relatives, staff and volunteers, regardless of their faith, beliefs or life stance.

The Chaplain at Weldmar Hospicecare is a member of the multidisciplinary team, and is responsible for the religious and spiritual care and wellbeing of all patients and their relatives, staff and volunteers, regardless of their faith, beliefs or life stance. The post holder will seek to support people in their search for meaning.

As part of Weldmar’s education and training programme, the post holder will contribute an informed ethical, spiritual and pastoral resource to the wider team and external agencies.

Working closely with Weldmar’s Bereavement Service Lead, the postholder will also be responsible for coordinating and leading a number of remembrance events throughout the year alongside a team of Chaplaincy Volunteers.
